My husband was not a huge Disney fan at the time. He had only been a few times, and only one of those times as an adult. He really didn't get the appeal, and believed that it was just for people with small children really. Planning our wedding changed his mind entirely. And hopefully this post will help explain why.
There are many reasons to choose a Disney wedding:
I have heard many friends talk about how stressful their big day was, and how if they could do it all over again they would elope, or change a lot of things. For us, this was not the case. Every step was easy. Every bridal (and other) request was met. I felt like a special princess on our big day - and even was mistaken for one. (Side note: while we were waiting for our parents to arrive at the dinner location, a little girl asked for my autograph because I was a princess. It almost made me cry.)
If you are a Disney fan, and even if you aren't (hey, they have tons of options and locations), I would highly recommend at least considering having a Disney Fairy Tale Wedding. They definitely live up to their name.
Have you had a Disney Wedding and have other suggestions or experiences? Do you have questions about planning a Disney Wedding? I would love to hear from you in the comments below!
Here is where I will rant about my daily mommy life, give some insight into a brain tumor survivor's musings, and hopefully offer up some fun as well.
